The Farrington SP24-7 racing car was a special project and built from scratch. It was designed and built inhouse by Trevor Farrington Ltd with a view to providing a cost effective option to the racing enthusiast in the form of a highly competitive race car.

The car itself has been the recipient of a DTI SMART Award for innovative design and multiple user options. Whilst fully compliant with the Sports 1000 series, it is also capable of being fitted with a variety of engines, allowing it to be a viable option for such varied uses as track-days, sprints, hillclimbs or differently powered circuit racing.
